Who is Siddhas

Siddhas are highly spiritual and incredibly powerful beings who have attained various Siddhis. They strived to understand the Supreme Truth by performing austerities, while living a life of absolute discipline. Originally there are 18 Siddhas, who have taken many incarnations. Siddhas have guided and enlightened many of their disciples. Siddhas’ wisdom far surpasses that of the 64 branches of knowledge. The guidance of Siddhas has been noted down in ancient Tamil language by many of their disciples in form of writings for the future generations to cherish and follow.

Siddhas are known to live closely with the nature. They are believed to have perfected the means to enable this physical body to remain naturally alive for generations and eons. It is also believed that Siddhas are living amongst us to this date and that they assemble in a Court periodically, to make important decisions regarding the future of the world.

In the modern times, Siddhas preliminarily communicate with the human beings through the means of Naadi readings. The art of reading Naadi leaves is hereditarily practiced by the Naadi readers belonging to the Valluvar clan in India. Apart from Naadi readings, Siddhas also appear to and guide selected disciples in person.

Maharishi Agastya is considered the foremost of all Siddhas. Maharishi Agastya always preached naturism; that is, one should not cause harm to any living beings. He taught taking care of all living beings in the world and guided human beings to the path of absolute Jnaana to reach the divine feet.
